![]() I've tried older Intel drivers, as well as the newest release. I've tried rolling back drivers, going back to the Manufacturer's web site. I thought I encoded the show improperly because the documentary was originally in French with english as an afterthought, so I did it again. The vexing thing is that this USED TO WORK!!! I noticed, about a week ago when I was encoding a documentary, that I couldn't hear the dialogue, only the ambient noises. Still only the front left and right speakers work. Switch back to 5.1 on the Monoprice, and Win 10 reports that the surround speakers are there. The laptop is properly detecting that the speakers are attached, because I can switch the Monoprice to 2 channel mode and my only speaker selection in Windows shows stereo only. ![]() But for some reason Windows will not play 5.1. Running a self test on the Panlong decoder shows that all speakers are working properly. Switching to my DirecTV service using the Monoprice switch, I get full 5.1 sound. The test routine shows that it is trying to send a tone out to the other speakers, but I can't hear anything. Here's where the problem is-I can only hear tones from the front left and front right speakers. When I go and configure the Intel Display Audio connection under Sound, I get a choice of stereo, 2.1, 3.1, 5.1, 7.1 speakers. The audio is handled by the laptop by Intel Display Audio (Intel HD Graphics 4600) over the HDMI cable. From the Monoprice switch, I send the audio signal via optical cable to a Panlong 5.1 decoder similar to this (. ![]() I'm trying to pass audio through HDMI to a Monoprice ( ) switch to split the audio signal off. However, I'm not using the on board sound. Also, check back with our website as often as possible in order to stay up to speed with latest releases.I'm using a Toshiba Satellite S55T with onboard IDT sound. To sum up: if you wish to improve your device’s usability and functionality, click the download button, and install the package. However, since there are a huge number of device utilities provided by various developers and manufacturers, it would be a good idea to check any provided information regarding the installation steps, or just follow the on-screen instructions. If all requirements are met, simply save the downloadable file (extract it if needed), run the available setup, and follow all instructions for a complete and successful installation. Still they can be restricted to certain operating systems (or bit architectures), and existing Internet connection, or even specific components. Installing these packages is most of the times quite an easy process, and may or may not require a system reboot. However, in order to expand functionality, as well as usability, owners can make use of various utilities. Usually, device functionality is ensured by its drivers, firmware, and/or BIOS packages, and the product can be used for its purpose once these files are installed. depending upon configurationĤ5W (19V 2.37A) 100-240V/50-60Hz AC Adapterĭimensions (W x H x D): 3.7” x 1.6” x 1.1”Ĥ cell/52Wh Lithium Polymer battery pack (not user replaceable)īattery Life Rating (measured by MobileMark Productivity 2012) Microphone input port with Toshiba Sleep and Music and headphone output port ģ USB ports 3.0 ports (1 with USB Sleep and Charge)ĭimensions (W x D x H Front/H Rear): 12.44” x 8.15” x 0.70” Secure Digital, Secure Digital High Capacity, SDXC, Mini SD, Micro SD, MultiMedia Card Mobile Intel HD Graphics with 64MB-1664MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memoryĬonfigured with 8GB DDR3 1600MHz (max 8GB)ġ3.3” diagonal widescreen PixelPure LED backlit at 2560 x 1440 native resolution (WQHD)Ĭlickpad pointing device with Windows 8 Gesture support Intel Core i5-3337U Processor(3M Cache, up to 2.70 GHz) with Intel Turbo Boost Technology Specifications for KIRABook 13-i5S-Touch Ultrabook:
